Swimmin', Pushin', & Pullin'!

The whole crew got some fancy new swim suits this past week, so we headed next door to the KOA to test them out! Sporting the navy blue board shorts is super cool mini-man, CJ...

..and pretty in a pink floral is none other than Sophie Rose...

...finally, showing off her brightly colored beekeenee and matching 'help me' orange floaties is the original punk, Randi Mae! On your mark...

...get set...

...JUMP!

..TUCK!

..and SPLASH!

..and she's gone!

The girls took some time to chill out together...

...and CJ wasn't left out either...ahhhhhh, cool toes!

...but after a while, it was time to go home...and I was soon reminded of just how far HOME was...you see, I had the bright idea to hike it...the KOA is about a mile from the house, even though it's right next door...we take the driveway down to the power lines...follow the power lines across the hay field and down the hill....then trek through the trees to the pot of gold, the POOL! On this day, I opted to push the punks in our double stroller, and Randi drove her mini-Gator...the trip there was uneventful...going home, however, was another story...
As we head from the pool into the trees, Randi pulls ahead of me...all is well as I tag along behind her pushing the stroller....

...then we come to the hill...or "Oh Sh!t Mountain" as I have affectionately named it...see the brat in the Gator there? Well, that's where she got stuck and started peeling out....the hill was too steep for the battery operated plastic wannabe...

...so this is how I spent the rest of the climb up said hill...pushing the stroller, pushing the Gator...

...wearing a tube dress and flip flops...neither of which wanted to stay on their intended body parts...

...but we made it...and just as we began to cross the hay field, her battery gave out...and I had to tow her the rest of the way using this handy pink towel...doesn't she just look so dang comfortable sitting there? hmph...

..and so I towed...all the way back to the house....towed and pushed actually....

Talk about a workout! It's bordering on 90 degrees out today...what we don't do for our punks...*eye roll*...now, time for a shower!
Happy Trails,
Leah

I love it...oh the glamorous job of a mother! We start out organized and motivated and by the end it takes all we have got to drag ourselves back home! Smiling and laughing all the way right? You get the award Mama!
