When good intentions go bad...


I made potroast last night. The slow cooker was, well, too slow, so I pulled out the pot it was in and put it in the oven. Melting the lid. I left the slow cooker on, almost burning down the house. Speeding up a slow cooking potroast means it comes out tougher than an old shoe. I burned the rolls. But we all ate, narrowly averting starvation for another day. Barely. Amen.
