Max is one of our most recent barn buddies....he is a 12 year old off the track TB. That means he was raced earlier in his career, and when he either no longer proved competitive, or sustained an injury preventing further racing, his career ended....That's why his current owner found him at an auction, and offered him the good life with new hope and a new career...His owner is a student at a nearby college and enjoys riding him hunter, and hopes of getting to some events and local hunter competitions with him this summer when school commitments die down a bit...
This is the first time I actually caught the illusive duo here at the barn...usually they arrive after I've gone up to the house...what a treat to get to see them in action....Max is a lovely mover, and obviously enjoys the time he spends with his number one gal....
